Okay, sorry for the flashy, inflamatory heading, but it is what it is. I'm selling my NA I've had for 8 years. I just recently purchased a TTZ with intake, test pipes, downpipes, pulley, end ecu running 15 #'s of boost. I just bought it from my friend, Edward. He used that cash combined with some savings to buy an '03 Z06 C5 Corvette. Beautilful car. Like the HUD, and the electromagnetic suspension is pretty trick. The rear diff shield even has "Z06 405 h.p." adorning it. We were driving from Burmingham, Ala. to Athens, Ga. We were on the freeway, so we couldn't line them up from a dead stop. But, we did get plenty of open road to do roll-on drags. From 60 mph to 120 the z06 put exactly 1 length on me. My front bumper in line with his rear bumper. We were both surspised that the Z kept up so well. It has stock mufflers bolted up to a h-pipe, and had a noticeable increase in spool-up time, and decrease in power (seat of the pants, anyway), so swapping the greddy on my NA to the TT should help solve that problem. I would like to retain the HKS h-pipe as it has pre-silencers built in. But I would like to bolt my GReddy cans onto them, instead of the HKS mufflers. Will this work? Are the ataching flanges and pipe length the same on the greddy and hks? I'll let you know, if someone doesn't let me know, because I'm definitely going to try it. Anyhow, the Z06 was unreal. At hi-way speeds this car pulls from my Z, that's pretty damned good, IMO. Even if it doesn't pull much. I think that it probably does it's best work out of the hole. It's light weight with low gears and a small block...plus monsterous tires...I have wheel hop to solve...and I'm afraid it might not be so close off the line.. We'll find out as soon as it stops raining here. I'm going to search like crazy for wheel hop solutions, now....just thought that I would share.
